How To Fix Java Errors

If you have come across java errors then you probably would know that these are shown in pop-ups in a yellow triangle and these errors will ask you to debug. These are caused when there is a problem with the JavaScript that has been embedded in the site that you have opened. The kind of error is also found in programs that are connected to them. You may or may not know this but Dreamweaver depend a lot on JavaScript and it is because of this that you will find Java errors here. Java errors in programs and Java errors in Dreamweaver are the two most common errors that you may come across.

Are you getting an error when you are running a particular program? In such a situation, you should see if there is any update for the program and then check again to see whether the problem has been fixed. One other option available to you is to visit the website of the program and look at the FAQ section for help on fixing the error. Most of the common errors will be listed there. If the solution offered in the FAQ section did not help then you should try uninstalling the program and then installing it again. This will probably fix the problem.

Are you experiencing the Java errors from a website? In this situation, you should check your browser settings to find out whether the ActiveX, Java applets and Active script are blocked. Sometimes another program (Anti-virus or Firewall) or the Internet Explorer may block the above mentioned processes. You can correct the error by unblocking the processes. To unblock the processes on Internet Explorer, go to ‘Tools’-> ‘Internet Options’-> ‘security’-> click on default.

You can also try checking the website from another PC. If you get the error from another computer then something is wrong with the website and not with your computer.

If you are using the smooth scrolling feature then it can also cause Java errors. You can deactivate it by going to Internet Options-> Advanced-> look for smooth scrolling and then deactivate it. It is important that you have the updated version of the scripting engine from the website of Microsoft.

If the above mentioned solutions still did not help you then there is something wrong with your computer’s registry or system file. You can make use of a registry cleaning program to fix the Java error.
